Low Budget Diet for Beginners

If you are new to a gym and you’re thinking about starting a weight lifting or bodybuilding program, I’m sure you’ve read up on some of the best workouts and gym diets for beginners. But just how do you know what is best for you?

Many people make the same mistakes that I often see from novice weightlifters trying to follow all these different programs. So here is a short guide to help you get started right away.

Breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. You have to eat something before you leave your house!

Here are a few things that you might want to eat… eggs, fruit, cereal (yep, you guessed it… Wheat bread), and a protein drink or shake. These are all excellent breakfast food choices.

Lunch

The lunch portion is usually your main meal of the day. Try to eat something that has a higher nutrient value. Here are a few things that I like to eat… Salmon, tuna salad, a chicken breast with the skin on, brown rice, and low-fat dairy products like yogurt, cottage cheese.

Post-Workout Meal

The post-workout meal is very important. If you have any kind of protein shakes, be sure to drink your protein before you hit the gym.

You might want to consider other supplements: whey protein, creatine monohydrate, prohormone boosters, amino acids, glutamine, and taurine. Just remember that your body will need all the nutrients you are putting into it when working out.

Gym Diet after Workout

Never Skip Gym Schedule

One mistake that I see very often from beginners is skipping the gym. Remember that you are in the gym to build muscle, not lose weight. Skipping the gym is a big mistake because your body will give up on the protein you have consumed after about an hour or so if you are not eating right. Make sure that you eat right when you go to the gym. I would highly recommend that you eat a protein shake right after your workout.

To Sum Up

I hope that this brief article has given you some valuable tips and information on how to start a gym diet for beginners. Don’t forget to read my other articles on the matter as well.

In particular, I will be discussing what to eat once you get to the gym. Remember that your body needs protein after your workout to repair it and build muscle. So make sure that you eat right when you are going to the gym.
